Furthermore, it posted an adjusted operating income of $1.66 billion, with a stronger 12.7% operating margin. This marks the highest margin in its history, proving its financial strength and smart operations.

The airline improved its financial position by increasing cash reserves and reducing debt. Consequently, it ended the year with $3.53 billion in cash and lowered its debt to 1.7 times earnings. Moreover, LATAM secured a $300 million Sustainability-Linked Loan, making it the first South American airline to take this financial step. This move strengthens its commitment to eco-friendly operations.

LATAM expanded its network, reaching 151 destinations across 27 countries. Additionally, it achieved an 84.3% load factor and added 16 new aircraft, growing its fleet to 347 planes. To improve customer experience, it upgraded aircraft interiors, enhanced in-flight entertainment, and expanded free Wi-Fi access. Similarly, the LATAM Pass loyalty program also grew, boosting passenger engagement.

LATAM focused on sustainability, cutting plastic waste, and lowering emissions. Notably, it removed over 1,700 tons of plastic and reduced 4.5 million tons of CO2 emissions over 14 years. Because of these efforts, LATAM became the most sustainable airline group in the Americas.

With strong profits, expanding routes, and a focus on sustainability, LATAM is set for more growth in 2025. Ultimately, its success proves it can lead the aviation industry while delivering top-quality service.
