Ljubljana Airport is gearing up for its busiest summer season in 2025, offering travelers more flight options than ever before. With 24 airlines operating routes to 26 destinations, the airport is set to break records. Two new airlines, KLM and Eurowings, will introduce fresh connections, making travel easier for both business and leisure passengers.
Starting March 30, 2025, KLM will launch daily flights to Amsterdam, increasing connectivity with one of Europe’s major hubs. This expansion will strengthen Slovenia’s link to global destinations, as KLM’s network spans multiple continents. Eurowings will also enhance Ljubljana Airport’s offerings by introducing three weekly flights to Düsseldorf from April 12, 2025. This new route will provide budget-friendly travel options and a direct link to Germany’s economic hub.
Beyond the arrival of KLM and Eurowings, several established airlines will increase their flights to popular destinations. Turkish Airlines will boost its service to Istanbul to 18 flights per week in June. British Airways will expand its London Heathrow schedule to eight weekly flights. Meanwhile, SWISS Airlines will enhance its Zurich connection with 12 flights per week, ensuring stronger European ties.
Returning airlines will also contribute to the airport’s growing network. Norwegian will resume flights to Copenhagen on March 31, while Finnair and Transavia France will start seasonal routes to Helsinki and Paris Orly on April 11. Additional flights to Athens, Tel Aviv, Madrid, and Tivat will give travelers more choices.
Ljubljana Airport will also expand its charter flight offerings, making 52 vacation destinations easily accessible. With more routes and increased frequency, passengers will enjoy greater flexibility and convenience. The upcoming summer season promises a record-breaking travel experience, further boosting Slovenia’s global connectivity.
