Lufthansa Adds New Winter Flights and Enhances Cabins for a Better Journey

The Lufthansa Group intensifies its global flight network for the 2025-26 winter season, highlighting its commitment to seamless connectivity and passenger comfort. Consequently, the Group enhances travel experiences through advanced cabin designs and expanded routes.

Starting October 26, 2025, travelers can book flights across the Group’s diverse carriers, which include Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, SWISS, Brussels Airlines, Eurowings, and Discover Airlines. Moreover, the Group focuses on delivering dependable schedules and improved service standards, especially during peak travel seasons.

A major innovation appears with the introduction of the Allegris premium cabin. This new interior design upgrades Economy, Premium Economy, Business, and First Class cabins on select long-haul flights. Notably, the Allegris cabin has received strong positive feedback, reflecting passenger appreciation for enhanced comfort and modern amenities. Lufthansa will deploy ten Airbus A350-900 planes equipped with Allegris cabins, flying daily from Munich to key cities such as New York, Chicago, Shanghai, and Tokyo. Additionally, flights to Bengaluru will run three times weekly, marking the widest simultaneous use of Allegris aircraft in the Group’s history.

Beyond long-haul enhancements, the Lufthansa Group boosts regional and short-haul routes through its subsidiaries. For instance, Austrian Airlines expands connections from Innsbruck and Vienna, while SWISS strengthens its presence in Europe and North America. Similarly, Brussels Airlines increases flights to African destinations, serving its role as the Group’s expert on the continent. Furthermore, Eurowings taps rising demand by launching new Middle East routes and expanding winter leisure flights to Red Sea resorts. Meanwhile, Discover Airlines introduces new exotic destinations, including Seychelles and Punta Cana, broadening the Group’s leisure travel options.

Therefore, this winter schedule showcases the Lufthansa Group’s strategic blend of network growth and operational reliability. It aligns with global aviation goals to enhance passenger satisfaction and economic connectivity. Also, the ongoing fleet upgrades and cabin innovations prove the Group’s dedication to premium travel experiences. Through these developments, the Lufthansa Group continues setting high standards while meeting diverse traveler needs worldwide.
