More Lisbon, Less Hassle: TAP Launches Year-Round Flights from LA

TAP Air Portugal is enhancing its global network by upgrading the Los Angeles to Lisbon route. Initially a seasonal route, it will now operate all year due to strong traveler demand. As interest in Portugal grows among US tourists, this move brings more flexibility and convenience.

Now, travelers can fly from LAX to Lisbon every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Moreover, TAP Air Portugal operates the route with its Airbus A330-900 neo aircraft. These jets offer better fuel efficiency, greater comfort, and reduced emissions. Therefore, passengers benefit from a smoother and quieter flying experience.

Additionally, Lisbon’s popularity continues to climb among American visitors. Because of this, TAP is making travel planning easier by removing seasonal limitations. The Lisbon hub also connects easily to other European cities. As a result, multi-city trips become more accessible from the West Coast.

Meanwhile, TAP Air Portugal is expanding rapidly across North America. Currently, it flies from eight major US cities, including New York, Boston, and Chicago. Furthermore, the airline plans to operate over 100 weekly flights from 11 North American gateways during the summer. This expansion aligns with TAP’s strategy to build stronger links between the US and Europe.

Not only does this change benefit leisure travelers, but it also supports business and family visits. By offering continuous service, TAP ensures travelers can visit Europe whenever they choose. In addition, using modern aircraft helps TAP meet its sustainability targets while improving the passenger journey.

Ultimately, TAP Air Portugal’s decision reflects its growth goals and commitment to travelers. With consistent flights, eco-efficient aircraft, and better connectivity, TAP strengthens its position as a top choice for transatlantic flights.
