China Southern Airlines is reshaping China–Australia travel with its daily Guangzhou–Brisbane flights starting June 10, 2025. Previously offering four weekly services, the airline now steps up to a daily schedule. As a result, it will add nearly 49,000 inbound seats to Queensland every year.
Consequently, this expanded service improves travel options and supports tourism, education, and trade growth. Moreover, passengers will enjoy greater flexibility, thanks to more frequent departures and arrivals.
Furthermore, the daily flights enhance connections through Guangzhou to major cities across China and Asia. Thus, travelers can reach more destinations with fewer layovers and faster transit. The passengers will experience higher comfort from takeoff to landing.
In addition, the airline has its sights set on the future. It plans to debut next-generation VantageXL+ business seats on new A350s starting in late 2026. These upgraded seats will deliver more privacy, space, and functionality for business travelers. Accordingly, China Southern Airlines continues to invest in premium services for global passengers.
By scaling up its Brisbane route, China Southern Airlines shows commitment to regional connectivity. Also, this route strengthens its hub in Guangzhou, helping it stand out in the Asia-Pacific market. Overall, the daily service boosts tourism, trade, and cultural exchange between Australia and China. Therefore, this move reflects growing demand and the airline’s long-term vision for expansion.
