Saudia launched its first direct route between Dammam and Beijing, expanding Saudi-China connections. This route, operating twice weekly via Jeddah, supports Saudia’s mission to expand global travel. Dammam now joins Riyadh and Jeddah with direct flights to Beijing.
This route boosts air traffic between Saudi Arabia and China. Saudia now offers 1,310 weekly seats to Beijing and 1,966 seats to Guangzhou. Passengers will experience Saudia’s premium services aboard the efficient Boeing B787 Dreamliner.
Saudia’s expansion aligns with Saudi Arabia’s growth goals for the Eastern Province. These new Dammam routes enhance economic and tourism ties and strengthen King Fahd International Airport’s international status. From January to September 2024, the airport increased passenger traffic by 16.2%, attracting more global travelers.
This launch emphasizes Saudia’s flexible operations, using Jeddah as a hub and connecting other airports. Saudia’s growing fleet and premium service offer an exceptional travel experience for diverse needs.
Saudia’s commitment to Saudi-China relations reflects rising travel demand. The airline continues to serve thousands on this popular route, seeing 19% growth from early 2023 to 2024. Saudia drives tourism and business growth, connecting the Kingdom with key destinations.
