Now, Fly Phoenix to Taipei With Ease — Thanks to STARLUX and American

STARLUX and American Airlines strengthen their global reach through a new interline agreement. The partnership connects Taipei with more than 250 North American cities through Phoenix, creating smoother journeys for travelers. Consequently, STARLUX gains stronger visibility in the U.S. while American travelers enjoy direct access to Asia.

The Phoenix–Taipei route will begin on January 15, 2026, and bring new competition. Moreover, Phoenix serves as a central hub for American Airlines, which now links passengers with STARLUX’s Asian network. The Airbus A350 will operate this route, and it offers premium cabins, curated meals, and superior comfort.

This cooperation also introduces one-stop booking and seamless baggage transfer, which significantly reduces travel hassles. Therefore, passengers from smaller U.S. and Canadian cities can easily connect through Phoenix to Taipei. In addition, they can continue onward to Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, and other key Asian markets.

STARLUX expands its U.S. footprint by adding Phoenix to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, and Ontario. As a result, the airline builds momentum as a premium choice for Asia-bound travelers. Meanwhile, American Airlines gains broader reach by extending its connectivity into STARLUX’s growing Asian network.

Both airlines aim to capture demand from business and leisure passengers who require convenient and reliable long-haul travel. Thus, the agreement builds stronger transpacific ties while improving travel efficiency and comfort. In conclusion, STARLUX and American Airlines create a powerful link between North America and Asia.
