Porter Airlines is expanding its U.S. network with a direct flight between Montréal-Trudeau International Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport. This new service strengthens Porter Airlines’ presence in New York and enhances travel options for passengers.
Starting June 1, 2025, Porter Airlines will operate one daily roundtrip on this route. During peak summer months, the airline will increase frequency to two daily flights. This expansion supports Porter Airlines’ strategy to improve connectivity between key North American destinations.
The airline already operates flights to Newark from Toronto and Ottawa, making this new service a valuable addition. Porter Airlines is also set to introduce a Toronto Pearson-LaGuardia route this spring, further boosting transborder connectivity.
Passengers flying between Montréal and Newark will enjoy a seamless experience. Porter Airlines offers premium in-flight service with no middle seats, complimentary beer and wine in glassware, and high-quality snacks. Those choosing PorterReserve fares will benefit from extra legroom, priority check-in, and included checked baggage.
This route allows passengers to connect easily to Porter Airlines’ domestic network, including destinations like Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, and Halifax. Additionally, travelers can access Air Transat’s European flights via Montréal, providing even more international options.
Porter Airlines continues to strengthen its position in the U.S. market by offering high-quality service and convenient connections. With this new Montréal-Newark route, the airline further enhances its growing transborder network, ensuring a smooth and comfortable journey for travelers.
