Porter Airlines Expands with New Toronto-Kelowna Flights

Porter Airlines expands with new flights from Toronto to Kelowna. Starting May 14, 2025, the airline offers five weekly roundtrip flights, with daily service starting June 23. This route makes Kelowna Porter’s third British Columbia destination, joining Vancouver and Victoria.

Porter operates these routes with its Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, known for fuel efficiency and quiet operation. The plane seats 132 passengers and offers a comfortable, eco-friendly travel experience. Porter’s two-by-two seating ensures no middle seats for passengers.

The flight schedule is convenient. Departing from Toronto Pearson at 9:15 a.m., the flight arrives in Kelowna at 10:55 a.m. Return flights leave Kelowna at 11:50 a.m. and reach Toronto at 7:00 p.m. Passengers can connect to Ottawa, Montreal, Halifax, and St. John’s through the expanded network.

Porter Airlines provides a premium onboard experience. Passengers enjoy complimentary beer and wine served in glassware, premium Canadian snacks, and free Wi-Fi. The PorterReserve fare includes fresh meals, priority check-in, extra legroom, and two checked bags. The PorterClassic fare offers customized travel perks.

Porter prioritizes sustainability by using biodegradable cups and reducing single-use plastics on flights. These steps reflect the airline’s commitment to environmental responsibility.

This new service strengthens the Toronto-Kelowna connection, benefiting business and leisure travelers. Porter Airlines continues expanding in Western Canada, offering more travel options to passengers.
