Qantas and Hawaiian Airlines have launched a powerful reward partnership that reshapes travel between Australia and Hawaii. Starting June 2025, Qantas Frequent Flyer members can use their points to book flights with Hawaiian Airlines. This deal expands access to destinations across the U.S., Japan, and other international hotspots. Qantas and Hawaiian Airlines now give travelers more flexibility than ever.
This new partnership deepens a broader alliance announced earlier in 2025. It sets the stage for even tighter integration as Hawaiian Airlines prepares to join the Oneworld alliance in 2026. Members can use their Qantas Points to reserve flights on Hawaiian Airlines’ network, including routes between major Hawaiian islands and U.S. mainland cities.
Frequent flyers benefit instantly. They can book reward flights using Qantas Points and earn points and status credits on eligible routes. They must book through the Qantas website, select ‘Rewards,’ and enter their Frequent Flyer number during checkout. This seamless process improves the value of the Qantas and Hawaiian Airlines partnership.
Qantas members gain access to flights tagged with either Qantas or Alaska Airlines codes. These flights cover high-demand routes, including 15 U.S. mainland cities and 10 international hubs. This expansion means travelers enjoy more destinations with fewer restrictions.
The move responds to growing demand for more reward flight choices. Over the last five years, Qantas reports a surge in bookings using partner airline reward seats. By joining forces with Hawaiian Airlines, Qantas meets this demand while boosting the appeal of its loyalty program.
As the global aviation market evolves, strategic partnerships like this one set new benchmarks. Qantas and Hawaiian Airlines now deliver more options, more points, and smoother journeys. Their alliance strengthens connections between Australia, Hawaii, and North America.
