Qantas expands its network with direct flights to Palau. Starting in December, passengers can book tickets for the inaugural flight from Brisbane. This route offers a new connection to Palau, famous for its stunning marine life and untouched landscapes.
Palau consists of over 300 islands, including the UNESCO Rock Islands. This route becomes Qantas’ fifth international flight from Queensland this year. The airline also launched flights to Vanuatu and Manila. The “Palau Paradise Express” is part of a government agreement to strengthen Australian-Palau ties. The service will promote tourism, trade, and cultural exchange, allowing travelers to explore one of the world’s most exotic destinations.
The weekly flight departs Brisbane aboard a Boeing plane. The flight takes about six hours. Qantas offers a special round-trip fare starting at AUD $899. Bookings must be made by November 12.
Palau offers incredible opportunities for adventure and nature lovers. Travelers can dive into its crystal-clear waters, explore lush jungles, and discover its rich culture. The island nation works hard to protect the environment, demonstrated by initiatives like the shark sanctuary and Jellyfish Lake, where visitors can swim with harmless jellyfish.
This new route gives Australians an exciting way to explore Palau’s wonders. It also strengthens trade and cultural links between the two nations.
