Qantas has announced significant changes to its loyalty program for 2025, offering more value to members. The updates include increased access to premium reward seats, expanded global partnerships, and higher points-earning potential. These enhancements aim to make Qantas the preferred choice for frequent flyers worldwide.
Starting in 2025, Qantas will provide up to 1 million additional Classic Reward seats. This includes premium cabin options and seats through partnerships with airlines like Finnair, Air France, KLM, Iberia, and Hawaiian Airlines. These additions will meet the growing demand for international travel, especially during peak seasons, and improve members’ ability to use their points effectively.
Qantas has also introduced the lowest domestic Economy reward seat fares in Australia. Members can now redeem Jetstar flights starting at just 5,700 points. This change aligns with Qantas’ efforts to make domestic and international travel more accessible to its loyal customers. Additionally, travelers can now earn up to 25% more points on domestic flights starting mid-2025, especially in premium cabins.
The airline is also focusing on expanding its partnerships globally. Members can now book Premium Economy reward seats with new partner airlines, including Finnair and Air France. Hawaiian Airlines will also offer additional reward seats on its popular Sydney-Honolulu route. These partnerships enhance Qantas’ ability to offer flexibility and choice to members.
In 2025, Qantas will introduce slight adjustments to the points required for some reward seats. However, members can lock in current rates by booking travel up to 11 months in advance before the changes take effect. This ensures members have time to maximize their benefits before the updates are implemented.
Qantas continues to innovate its loyalty program, ensuring long-term value for its members. The airline’s commitment to rewarding frequent flyers solidifies its position as a global leader in customer loyalty.
