Qatar Airways is making travel more convenient by increasing flights to several major destinations worldwide. As a result, the airline is strengthening its global network and enhancing connectivity across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
One of the most significant changes is on the Doha–London Heathrow route. With additional landing slots, Qatar Airways now operates 56 flights per week instead of 49. Likewise, travelers flying between Doha and Tokyo Narita will benefit from more options, as weekly flights increase from 11 to 14. Furthermore, the Amsterdam route is expanding from 7 to 11 weekly flights, ensuring greater accessibility for passengers.
Meanwhile, Spain is also seeing improvements. Qatar Airways has increased its Madrid flights from 14 to 17 per week. In addition, its partnership with Iberia has expanded, offering a total of 24 flights weekly. Berlin will also experience an upgrade, with weekly flights rising from 18 to 21 starting in July.
Several other destinations are receiving enhanced services as well. For instance, Damascus, Dar Es Salaam-Kilimanjaro, Entebbe, Larnaca, Maputo-Durban, Sharjah, and Tunis now have more frequent flights. Because of rising demand, Qatar Airways is making travel easier and more efficient in these regions.
Looking ahead, the airline has even bigger plans. In early summer 2025, Qatar Airways will launch flights to Bogotá and Caracas. Although final schedules are still pending, these new routes highlight the airline’s commitment to global expansion.
At the same time, other airlines are also growing their operations. Emirates has introduced flights to Shenzhen, Da Nang, and Siem Reap, while Etihad is preparing to add services to 10 new destinations next year.
With these changes, Qatar Airways is not only expanding its reach but also making international travel more seamless. The airline remains focused on growth, ensuring passengers have better options and improved connectivity worldwide.
