Qatar Airways Expands to South America with New Routes

Qatar Airways expands globally with new routes linking Doha to Bogotá, Colombia, and Caracas, Venezuela, starting summer 2025. The airline will offer two non-stop flights weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays. Qatar Airways becomes the first Middle Eastern carrier to fly directly to Colombia and the only one to serve Venezuela.

This expansion shows Qatar Airways’ commitment to improving international connections. The direct routes to Bogotá’s El Dorado International Airport and Caracas’ Simón Bolívar International Airport give passengers easy access to the airline’s global network. Travelers can now quickly reach Asia, Africa, and Europe via Doha.

Qatar Airways will operate these flights with the Boeing 777-200LR, known for comfort and long-haul capabilities. The aircraft offers premium Business Class and spacious Economy Class seats. Passengers will enjoy the airline’s award-winning service, recognized for its exceptional hospitality.

The new routes will strengthen cultural and economic exchanges between the Middle East and South America. Better connectivity will boost tourism and trade between both regions. South American travelers can now access over 170 destinations across the globe through Qatar Airways.
