ITA Airways has relaunched its direct flights between Rome Fiumicino and Tripoli Mitiga, ending a 10-year break. This marks the first time in a decade that a major Western European airline has connected these two cities. The decision to resume this route follows a period of suspended flights due to civil unrest in Libya.

The return of direct flights is expected to boost both cultural and commercial connections between Italy and Libya.
