Saudia, the flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, continues its upward trajectory with strong growth in Q3 2024. The airline reported a 10% rise in passengers, exceeding nine million, alongside a 9% increase in flight operations. These gains highlight Saudia’s expanding influence in the aviation sector and showcase its efforts to enhance travel experiences.
The airline achieved significant success internationally. It accommodated over five million passengers, with flight operations increasing by 5%. Saudia’s international flights logged over 102,400 flight hours. Domestically, the airline served more than four million passengers, reflecting a 12% rise. It operated over 27,500 flights, showing a 13% growth compared to last year. The domestic flights maintained an impressive on-time arrival rate of 91.5%.
Saudia’s performance reflects its commitment to excellence. The airline focuses on expanding services and ensuring customer satisfaction. It strengthens its presence in both international and domestic markets, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030. As Saudia grows, it supports the country’s ambitions to improve global connectivity.
From January to September 2024, Saudia transported over 25.3 million passengers on 143,800 flights. The airline plans to expand with 131 new aircraft covering more than 100 global destinations. This strategy will increase seating capacity and open new international routes.
