Alaska Airlines transforms global travel with new nonstop routes from Seattle to Asia. The airline, working with Hawaiian Airlines, strengthens connections to Tokyo Narita and Seoul Incheon. This expansion enhances convenience and reinforces Alaska Airlines’ commitment to outstanding service.
Flights from Seattle to Tokyo Narita will begin in May 2025. Hawaiian Airlines’ Airbus A330-200 will operate these flights to meet high travel demand. In October 2025, Alaska Airlines will also launch nonstop flights from Seattle to Seoul Incheon. Tickets for Tokyo are available now, with details for Seoul flights coming soon.
Seattle remains Alaska Airlines’ largest hub, connecting travelers to more than 100 destinations. By 2030, the airline plans to launch 12 additional long-haul routes from Seattle. These plans include nonstop service to Tokyo Narita and Seoul Incheon, with more destinations to follow.
Hawaiian Airlines uses widebody aircraft to expand capacity and enhance service. By reallocating flights from Honolulu to Tokyo Narita, it boosts flights to Tokyo Haneda and strengthens Seattle’s role as a global gateway. The airline will continue serving Osaka and Fukuoka to maintain comprehensive travel options in Japan.
Alaska Airlines also improves domestic travel with expanded West Coast services. The airline increases seating capacity and adjusts schedules to meet growing demand for Hawai’i connections. East Coast and Midwest passengers will also enjoy smoother connections to the Islands through Seattle and other hubs.
Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines share a vision of seamless travel. While the airlines await a single operating certificate, they continue delivering reliable service to passengers. Alaska Airlines now positions Seattle as a central hub for global travel.
