Travelers flying to South Korea will soon enjoy a new direct route. Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines are launching nonstop flights from Seattle to Seoul Incheon, starting September 12, 2025. This launch comes just in time for Chuseok, South Korea’s famous autumn festival.
Hawaiian Airlines will operate the service using its spacious Airbus A330-200 jets. The timing allows travelers to reunite with family or experience South Korea during one of its most festive seasons. The partnership aims to strengthen Seattle’s role as a key global air hub. This move follows the airlines’ broader plan to expand international routes from the Pacific Northwest.
This Seattle–Seoul Incheon route is part of a larger expansion. In May 2025, Alaska Airlines will also introduce daily flights from Seattle to Tokyo Narita. These strategic additions reinforce the goal of making Seattle a gateway to Asia. With increased connectivity, travelers will benefit from smoother access to various Asian destinations.
Business and leisure travelers alike will appreciate the convenience of this new route. The large Korean-American community in the Pacific Northwest will also gain a direct connection to Seoul Incheon. Hawaiian Airlines, known for its excellent service, aims to provide a comfortable journey for all passengers.
Tickets for these flights will be available soon on both Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines’ websites. This new addition will enhance travel options and create stronger ties between the Pacific Northwest and Asia.
