Singapore Airlines and Air India have launched a significant expansion of their partnership. This collaboration adds 51 new codeshare destinations, including 11 cities in India and 40 international locations. As a result, travelers will benefit greatly from this enhancement.

This expansion marks the first major update to their codeshare agreement since 2010. Furthermore, it serves to enhance travel options for passengers in India and Singapore. Moreover, travelers in Australia can connect seamlessly to Air India’s international services. Beginning October 27, 2024, the airlines will codeshare flights between Singapore and Indian cities like Bengaluru and Chennai. Consequently, this change boosts weekly codeshare services from 14 to 56, effectively tripling the available destinations.

For Singapore Airlines customers, the new agreement significantly improves access to Air India’s extensive domestic network. This connectivity includes flights from Delhi to various cities such as Amritsar, Bengaluru, and Coimbatore. Additionally, customers will find options between Mumbai and cities like Ahmedabad and Goa. Also, international travelers from Singapore Airlines can access Air India’s flights to 12 destinations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Air India aims to enhance its customers’ travel options as it undergoes an extensive rebuild. Therefore, the updated codeshare agreement allows Air India passengers to access 29 destinations within Singapore Airlines’ network. They can enjoy flights to Australian cities like Sydney and Melbourne, as well as to nearby destinations in New Zealand and Brunei.

Moreover, travelers from Air India can explore numerous Asian locations, including Japan and Vietnam. The two airlines also plan to introduce additional destinations in the future. With regulatory approvals, these new flights will progressively become available for booking.

This partnership enhances both airlines’ networks, ultimately offering travelers more choices and convenience. This expansion will significantly elevate their flying experience.
