Singapore Airlines has launched a major upgrade for its Terminal 2 lounges at Changi Airport. The airline invests $45 million to improve the customer experience. The airline will renovate the SilverKris First and Business Class lounges and the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge. These spaces will gain more room, more seating, and better amenities. This step builds on the success of the Terminal 3 lounges, strengthening the airline’s commitment to premium service.
The First Class SilverKris Lounge will have higher ceilings, open layouts, and large windows. Guests will enjoy meals at live cooking stations and drinks from a full bar. Baristas will serve coffee in the morning. Bartenders will mix cocktails in the evening. These upgrades will create a dynamic, refined atmosphere.
The Business Class lounge will grow by 30%, offering more comfort. Quiet areas with recliners and various work and rest seats will be available. The lounge will offer a buffet with both Asian and Western cuisines, plus a full-service bar. These upgrades will meet the needs of both business and leisure travelers.
The KrisFlyer Gold Lounge will double in size. The expansion will add armchairs, workstations, restrooms, and shower suites. These additions will improve comfort and convenience for passengers. The renovation will be finished by mid-2027. The airline will complete improvements in stages to minimize disruption.
