Exciting developments are underway at Southwest Florida International Airport as the $1 billion Terminal Expansion Phase 2 project begins in Fort Myers. This October, Fort Myers is bustling, with more than 5,500 roundtrip flights scheduled. Southwest Florida International Airport hosts 14 airlines, offering nearly 950,000 seats this month. Notably, Southwest Airlines dominates the market, providing about 20% of the flights and a significant number of available seats.
