Spirit Airlines is boosting summer travel options from Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE) by launching direct routes to Detroit, Los Angeles, Baltimore, and Nashville. These new connections, starting between May and June 2025, align with the airline’s effort to provide affordable travel for Midwesterners.
Spirit will begin its service to Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) on June 13. The airline will operate twice a week on Fridays and Mondays. This new route enhances Milwaukee’s growing list of domestic destinations. It also offers better access to Detroit, a key urban hub. Spirit aims to provide more travel options for both business and leisure travelers.
Before Detroit, Spirit will launch nonstop services to Los Angeles, Baltimore, and Nashville. Starting May 8, the airline will operate flights to Los Angeles on Thursdays and Sundays. Flights to Baltimore will also begin on May 9, operating on Fridays and Mondays. At the same time, Spirit will start flights to Nashville, operating twice a week on Fridays and Mondays. These routes offer more flexibility for travelers looking for affordable travel options.
Spirit will use its Airbus A320 aircraft, which features Big Front Seats and standard seating. These flights will offer comfort for travelers at competitive prices. One-way fares start at just $37. Spirit Airlines continues to help customers explore new destinations without overspending.
