STARLUX Airlines Expands Japan Routes with New Taiwan-Kobe Flights

STARLUX Airlines is set to enhance travel connectivity between Taiwan and Japan with new nonstop flights to Kobe. Beginning April 18, the airline will introduce direct routes from Taipei and Taichung to Kobe, strengthening its presence in Japan. The Taipei-Kobe route will operate three times weekly, while daily flights will connect Taichung with Kobe.

This marks the first nonstop air link between Taiwan and the Kansai region city. STARLUX Airlines now serves 12 destinations across Japan, reinforcing its expansion strategy. The airline continues to invest in fleet growth, ensuring efficient travel experiences for passengers.

Flights on these routes will utilize the Airbus A321neo, featuring a two-class configuration. The aircraft includes eight business class seats in a 2-2 layout and 180 economy seats in a 3-3 setup. STARLUX Airlines currently operates 13 A321neo jets, with six more scheduled for delivery.

Beyond regional expansion, STARLUX Airlines strengthens its global operations with a growing fleet. The airline currently operates eight A350-900s and five A330neos, with additional aircraft on order. Future deliveries include six more A330neos and ten A350s, enhancing its long-haul capabilities.

STARLUX Airlines sees Taiwan as a vital transit hub, playing a key role in regional connectivity. Its focus on passenger and cargo traffic underscores its commitment to expansion. With this new route, STARLUX Airlines continues to position itself as a major player in the Asia-Pacific aviation market.
