Starting 2025: Delta Air Lines Introduces Direct Flights from Boston to São Paulo!

Delta Air Lines expands its global reach by adding direct flights from Boston to São Paulo. Starting January 6, 2025, the airline connects Boston Logan International Airport with São Paulo’s Guarulhos International Airport. This addition not only shows Delta’s commitment to enhancing international routes but also highlights its Boston hub, which already offers many destinations across Europe and North America.

These new flights from Boston to São Paulo will operate three times weekly. Consequently, this schedule gives travelers a convenient option for visiting Brazil’s largest city. Furthermore, Delta Air Lines will deploy its Airbus A330-300 aircraft on this route, ensuring passengers enjoy comfortable travel with many amenities. The A330 features 282 seats in three cabin classes, giving customers options such as Delta One, Delta Premium Select, and a main cabin with extra-legroom seating.

In Delta One, 34 seats convert into fully flat beds, which suits the 10-hour journey perfectly. Additionally, Delta Premium Select provides a premium economy experience with 21 spacious recliners. On the other hand, the main cabin offers 227 standard seats, with Delta Comfort+ seats providing extra legroom. Moreover, travelers can enjoy an extensive in-flight entertainment setup, featuring seatback video, satellite TV, and onboard WiFi.

Interestingly, Delta may temporarily take over this route from its partner, LATAM Airlines, which currently operates flights between Boston and São Paulo. In fact, the transfer is expected to last just three months, ending on March 27, 2025. During this period, LATAM has paused sales for its flights. Some industry analysts speculate that the short transfer period might relate to LATAM’s technical issues with its 787 aircraft. These challenges occasionally disrupt LATAM’s long-haul routes and impact its service on this popular route.

Ultimately, with this temporary addition, Delta Air Lines solidifies its role as a major player in transcontinental travel. The airline caters to both business and leisure travelers seeking reliable service between Boston and South America.
