Virgin Atlantic is enhancing its offerings in the London-Orlando market for the summer of 2025. From July 11 to September 7, the airline plans to operate 17 weekly flights between London Heathrow Airport (LHR) and Orlando International Airport (MCO). This marks an increase from the usual 14 weekly flights, allowing for greater flexibility and options for travelers.
The flight schedule showcases Virgin Atlantic’s commitment to meeting demand during peak travel season. Travelers can choose from various daily flights, including VS091 and VS135, both offering convenient departure times. In addition, the airline operates specific flights on select days, such as Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, catering to diverse travel plans.
To service this popular route, Virgin Atlantic will utilize a mix of Airbus A330-300s, A330neos, and A350-1000s. This aircraft variety ensures a comfortable experience for passengers. Notably, the A350-1000s come in two configurations, including a high-density setup that accommodates 397 passengers, ideal for leisure travel. These planes also feature an innovative social area for Upper Class passengers, known as The Booth.
Virgin Atlantic also connects Orlando with Manchester and seasonally from Edinburgh. Additionally, Delta Air Lines, its joint venture partner, has launched seasonal services between London Heathrow and Orlando, enhancing travel options for passengers.
Beyond Orlando, Virgin Atlantic is increasing frequencies to several destinations in the Middle East and Asia. Flights to Dubai will now operate daily, while Male will see its service more than double. Furthermore, travelers can look forward to two daily flights between London and Mumbai, improving access to key markets.
Throughout the winter season, New York’s JFK Airport continues to be Virgin Atlantic’s busiest North American destination, with over 223,000 seats available until March 29, 2025. With these expansions, Virgin Atlantic reinforces its commitment to providing excellent service and connectivity to travelers.
