SWISS is changing long-haul travel with its new ‘SWISS Senses’ experience. This upgrade improves Economy and Premium Economy with better dining, eco-friendly service, and premium inflight comforts. The airline aims to create a smooth, enjoyable, and uniquely Swiss journey.
Starting 5 March, SWISS passengers on long-haul flights will notice major improvements. The ‘SWISS Senses’ initiative enhances meals, cabin design, and sensory details to make flying more enjoyable. From the moment travelers board, they will experience thoughtful touches that boost relaxation and comfort.
Dining at 35,000 feet now feels like a gourmet experience. Economy and Premium Economy travelers will enjoy meals inspired by Swiss flavors. To start, passengers receive an aperitif with fine Sbrinz cheese, reflecting Switzerland’s food culture. SWISS has also upgraded its main-course options and pre-landing meals, now served in a reusable bento box or an elegant tray. In addition, more snacks and drinks, including Swiss wines and local soft drinks, are now available. The airline also serves meals on stylish, reusable black tableware to support sustainability.
Beyond dining, SWISS is focused on a full sensory experience. Passengers will rest better with improved bedding made from recycled materials. A unique cabin fragrance, Alpine Valley, adds a fresh, calming scent inspired by the Swiss Alps. To improve entertainment, SWISS now provides noise-reducing headphones for a more immersive experience.
With a fully redesigned long-haul fleet, SWISS is elevating air travel. Every detail, from seating to onboard services, is designed for maximum comfort. These upgrades ensure that long-haul flights feel less like a journey and more like a luxury experience. With ‘SWISS Senses,’ the airline continues to set new standards in aviation.
