Meanwhile, TAP’s Brazil-Europe routes set new records. Over 2 million passengers flew between Brazil and Europe with TAP, a 7.1% rise from 2023. This milestone solidifies TAP’s strong presence in the transatlantic market and its role as a preferred carrier on these popular routes.
TAP also saw positive results within its domestic Portuguese network. The airline transported 983,000 passengers on the Madeira-mainland Portugal routes, a 3.3% increase from the prior year. Similarly, its Azores routes experienced growth, with 527,000 passengers, a 1.3% rise compared to 2023.
