Turkish Airlines is set to reach new heights in its US operations, increasing weekly flights to Chicago and Los Angeles. Starting in July 2025, the airline will operate 17 weekly flights from Istanbul to both cities, marking a significant expansion. This is part of Turkish Airlines’ broader plan to offer a total of 170 weekly flights from Istanbul to the US, averaging 24 daily departures. The airline is increasing its service by 6% compared to summer 2024, with several US cities receiving enhanced schedules.
Chicago, which has been part of Turkish Airlines’ network since 1997, will see a rise in service frequency. Previously, the airline operated a double-daily schedule, but this will now increase to 17 weekly flights. These enhanced services will begin in July 2025 and run until at least October 25, 2025. Turkish Airlines plans to offer a range of flights from Istanbul, including daily services on Boeing 787-9 and 777-300ER aircraft.
Los Angeles is also experiencing a significant boost. Turkish Airlines has added additional flights, bringing the total to 17 weekly. The new schedule will also start in July 2025. Flights from Istanbul to Los Angeles will be operated by both the Boeing 777-300ER and 787-9, providing a more flexible and frequent service for travelers.
In addition, Turkish Airlines will continue its rapid growth in Denver. Despite only launching flights in June 2024, the airline will increase its Denver service to daily next summer. This is a strong sign of demand for the route, with Turkish Airlines quickly adapting to the market’s needs.
Overall, Turkish Airlines’ expanded operations highlight the airline’s growing presence in the US market, providing more flight options and connections for passengers traveling from Istanbul to key destinations.
