Turkish Airlines is expanding its flight schedule for Zagreb and Dubrovnik, offering more options for travelers this summer. The airline is increasing flight frequencies between Istanbul and these Croatian cities to meet growing demand.
Turkish Airlines initially planned to operate 21 weekly flights between Istanbul and Zagreb from March 30, 2025. However, the airline revised its schedule to include an additional daily flight on select days during peak summer. Between July 1 and September 1, it will operate four daily flights on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. This change raises the total number of weekly flights to 24, improving connectivity between the two capitals.
The airline is also adjusting its departure schedule to provide more travel flexibility. A new flight will leave Istanbul just after midnight and land in Zagreb at 01:45 local time. The return flight will depart at 02:40 and reach Istanbul at 05:55. These flights will complement the existing morning, afternoon, and evening services, ensuring frequent travel options.
Before 2020, most passengers on this route were connecting from the Far East. However, travel restrictions shifted passenger flow. As Asian markets recover and the US market grows, transfer traffic is increasing again. Turkish Airlines’ expanded network, including flights to Australia, will further boost passenger numbers on the Zagreb route.
The airline is also strengthening its presence in Dubrovnik. Initially, it planned a daily flight between Istanbul and Dubrovnik for summer 2025. However, from July 1 to September 1, it will introduce extra flights on Tuesdays and Sundays, raising weekly operations to nine flights.
Turkish Airlines’ expansion highlights its commitment to enhancing global connectivity. The additional flights will provide more travel options for passengers and improve links between Turkey and Croatia.
