Turkish Airlines has strengthened its global reach by launching flights to Ohrid, North Macedonia. This move expands its network to 353 destinations and adds a second stop in the country after Skopje.
The airline now operates four weekly flights between Istanbul and Ohrid St. Paul the Apostle Airport. This addition boosts regional connectivity, offering passengers more travel options across Europe. The expansion aligns with Turkish Airlines’ commitment to linking diverse cultural and business hubs worldwide.
Ohrid, known for its stunning Lake Ohrid and rich biodiversity, holds UNESCO World Heritage status. The city’s historical and cultural importance makes it a key attraction in the Balkans. With Turkish Airlines now connecting it to Istanbul, tourists and business travelers can access the region more easily.
The airline expects this new route to drive tourism and trade while fostering stronger global ties. To celebrate the launch, Turkish Airlines offers special promotional fares for travelers booking between April 1-15, 2025. One-way tickets from Istanbul to Ohrid start at £107 when booked through the official website. Ticket prices may vary at travel agencies and airport counters.
