United Airlines Announces New Nonstop Service to Dominica from Newark

United Airlines is expanding its Caribbean network with the addition of a new nonstop service to the beautiful island nation of Dominica. Starting February 15, 2025, the airline will offer weekly flights from its hub at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) to Douglas–Charles Airport (DOM) in Dominica. United will be the second major U.S. carrier to serve Dominica, following American Airlines, which currently operates flights from Miami. The new service will operate once a week on Saturdays, utilizing a Boeing 737-700 aircraft. This aircraft type will be among the largest to serve Douglas–Charles Airport, which has a runway length of 6,352 feet.
