United Airlines Expands Denver-Syracuse Service This Summer

United Airlines will boost its connectivity between Denver and Syracuse this summer. The airline will add a second daily flight between Denver International Airport (DEN) and Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR), doubling its service between the two cities.

This addition will make travel easier, especially for passengers heading to various U.S. destinations. United Airlines currently offers one daily flight, departing Syracuse at 8:00 AM (Eastern) and arriving in Denver just before 10:00 AM local time. The return flight departs Denver at 6:00 PM and lands in Syracuse at 11:00 PM. The added flight provides another morning departure from Denver at 9:40 AM, arriving in Syracuse at 3:00 PM. The second outbound flight leaves Syracuse at 4:15 PM and reaches Denver at 6:00 PM.

The new service will benefit industries, especially travelers connected to the semiconductor sector. The added schedule also offers one-stop connections to Boise, ID, and California’s Bay Area.

United Airlines serves several major destinations from Syracuse, including Newark, Washington D.C., and Chicago. The airport also offers flights from several top carriers, connecting to domestic and international cities.

Despite challenges, such as Southwest Airlines’ exit in 2024, Syracuse Airport set a new traffic record. The airport surpassed three million passengers for the first time in its history, showing the increasing demand for flights and the airport’s growing importance in Central New York.

Meanwhile, United Airlines is exploring a potential headquarters move to Denver, which could strengthen its presence at Denver International Airport. However, the company has not officially confirmed this relocation yet.
