United Airlines Expands Globally with New U.S. and International Routes

United Airlines is set to enhance global connectivity with a mix of domestic and international expansions. The airline will relaunch nonstop flights from Washington Dulles International Airport to Albuquerque, New Mexico, starting May 22. This route, discontinued in 2014, will now operate seasonally, pausing during January and February. With this addition, travelers will have more options for seamless domestic travel.

Alongside its Albuquerque relaunch, United Airlines is also focusing on international growth. The airline will introduce new nonstop flights to Nice, France, and Venice, Italy, both starting on May 22. Additionally, on May 23, United will launch a direct route to Dakar, Senegal. These new destinations mark a bold step in expanding its global presence.

Furthermore, United Airlines is increasing connectivity between the U.S. and Ireland. Starting March 29, the airline will add a second daily flight between Washington Dulles and Dublin. This expansion strengthens transatlantic travel options for both business and leisure passengers.

As the largest carrier at Dulles, United Airlines will operate from the soon-to-open Concourse E. This advanced 435,000-square-foot terminal will feature 14 gates and is expected to open in late 2026. Meanwhile, passengers will soon experience faster in-flight internet as United plans to roll out Elon Musk’s Starlink Wi-Fi across its fleet this spring.

With these developments, United Airlines continues to lead in innovation and global reach. By reviving domestic routes and adding new international services, the airline is making travel more convenient and accessible for passengers worldwide.
