United Airlines Expands with Unique Global Destinations

United Airlines is transforming its international offerings with exciting new routes set for summer 2025. This expansion, the largest in the airline’s history, includes 11 new routes and introduces unique destinations such as Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia), Kaohsiung (Taiwan), Nuuk (Greenland), and Dakar (Senegal).

The airline focuses on exploring non-traditional locations beyond major business hubs. This approach appeals to a diverse audience, attracting honeymooners and adventure seekers alike. Starting May 1, United will offer three weekly flights from Tokyo-Narita to Ulaanbaatar using a Boeing 737 Max 8, making it the only U.S. airline to serve Mongolia.

United also plans to launch a year-round nonstop route from Tokyo to Koror, Palau, with specific launch details pending. Additionally, it will commence twice-weekly seasonal flights from Newark Liberty International Airport to Nuuk on June 14, becoming the sole carrier offering nonstop service to Greenland from the U.S.

In July, the airline will introduce daily flights from Tokyo to Kaohsiung, complementing its existing route from San Francisco to Taipei. United Airlines recognizes that these unconventional routes can successfully attract a broad range of travelers, enhancing its brand identity.
