United Airlines will restart flights between New York and Tel Aviv on March 18, 2025. This move follows months of uncertainty due to regional conflicts. At the time of the announcement, tickets were still unavailable for booking.

As the first U.S. carrier to restore flights to Israel, United Airlines leads the industry’s return. Consequently, this decision paves the way for other airlines to follow. Delta Airlines will resume its flights on April 1, 2024, with daily service between New York and Tel Aviv. Clearly, these efforts signal a shift toward stability after months of cancellations.

Before suspending operations in October 2023, United Airlines offered 28 weekly flights from Tel Aviv to U.S. cities. Since then, repeated violence in the region led to ongoing service interruptions. Although United Airlines resumed flights in March 2024, it had to stop again when security threats increased. Later, in June 2024, flights restarted but were suspended once more in July due to escalating tensions. Now, with conditions improving, the airline is prepared to restore flights in March 2025.
