VietJet Expands Boldly With New India-Thailand Routes

VietJet has launched new direct flights from Bangkok to Kolkata and Ahmedabad. As a result, the airline strengthens its regional footprint and connects key travel markets. Moreover, this strategic expansion boosts both tourism and business between India and Thailand.

Meanwhile, Thailand continues investing in airport upgrades to attract more travelers. Consequently, VietJet benefits from improved infrastructure and government support. In response to this momentum, the airline plans more routes across Asia. It will soon fly from Bangkok to Tokyo, Osaka, and Seoul.

At the same time, VietJet is hiring over 5,000 new employees. It actively fills positions in flight crews, technicians, engineers, and ground operations. Therefore, this hiring surge ensures smooth services as the route network grows.

Although the airline faced legal disputes over unpaid fees, it did not slow down. Instead, VietJet reinforced its Thailand operations and stayed focused on long-term goals. In fact, the airline turned challenges into renewed growth.

Furthermore, VietJet posted strong financial results in 2024. Its annual revenue jumped by 45% while profits returned. This recovery follows expanded routes and rising traveler demand. Hence, the airline continues building momentum in Southeast Asia.

With each new destination, VietJet increases its market share. Additionally, its bold hiring strategy strengthens service delivery. Altogether, these efforts put VietJet in a strong position. As competition grows, the airline moves faster, smarter, and stronger across Asia.
