Vietjet reported strong financial results in Q1 2025, showing a 24% profit increase compared to last year. The airline’s success stems from its strategic international expansion, including the launch of the direct Singapore to Phu Quoc flight. This expansion enhances Vietjet’s growing network and boosts its global presence.
In Q1 2025, Vietjet achieved impressive financial results. The airline generated revenues of VND17.92 trillion, a 25% increase from last year. The pre-tax profit hit VND820 billion, reflecting the airline’s solid financial standing. Ancillary revenue accounted for over 35% of total income. This surge in extra income highlights Vietjet’s strategy to diversify and drive sustainable growth.
Vietjet operated nearly 38,700 flights in the first quarter of 2025, carrying over 6.87 million passengers. These numbers show the airline’s capacity to meet rising demand and maintain excellent service. The fleet expansion and high load factors prove that the airline can remain competitive while managing operations smoothly.
Looking ahead, Vietjet plans further expansion. The airline will introduce two new routes: Phu Quoc to Singapore and Ho Chi Minh City to Auckland. These services will improve regional connectivity and serve both business and leisure travelers. Vietjet’s growth strategy positions it for continued success in the global aviation market.
