It now offers flights from Oakland to Monterrey International Airport (MTY). The airline will operate this route three times per week—Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Travelers can now reach Monterrey, a key business and tourism hub in Mexico, easily.
Volaris also announced a new route to Zacatecas, set to start in July 2024. The city, famous for its history and culture, will now connect directly with Oakland. The service to Los Cabos will begin in March 2025. This daily route promises to be popular for vacationers seeking the beach.
The airline has strengthened its network, having served millions of passengers from Oakland to popular Mexican cities like Guadalajara, Mexico City, and Cancun. These new routes will boost Volaris as a leading low-cost carrier between California and Mexico.
The airline operates in many California cities, with several routes from key airports. Volaris focuses on offering affordable travel options for both business and leisure. The airline makes it easy for travelers to visit new destinations and enjoy memorable experiences.
