Volotea has introduced a direct connection between Nantes Atlantique and Brussels South Charleroi airports. Starting February 12, 2026, travelers can board flights every Thursday and Sunday. Moreover, this move helps Volotea expand its European network and strengthen cross-border travel between France and Belgium.
The new route offers much more than convenience. In fact, it creates a practical gateway for both leisure and business travelers. Nantes impresses visitors with maritime heritage, vibrant culture, and historic landmarks. Meanwhile, Brussels attracts travelers with medieval architecture, rich museums, and culinary delights like chocolates and waffles.
Volotea continues to extend its European presence with a clear focus on direct connections. Therefore, this Nantes–Brussels link becomes the first Volotea-operated route between the French city and Belgium. Additionally, it expands Nantes’ reach to forty-eight destinations across twelve countries, increasing the city’s role as a travel hub.
Tourism benefits will grow significantly on both sides. For instance, French travelers will gain easier access to Brussels’ cultural and political heart. Conversely, Belgian visitors can explore Nantes, which combines innovation with old-world charm. Furthermore, business travelers will save valuable time with direct flights to Brussels, the European center of governance and trade.
Tickets are already on sale at competitive fares. As a result, travelers can plan short trips or extended stays with greater flexibility. With twice-weekly flights, passengers enjoy perfect schedules for weekend getaways, longer holidays, or business meetings. Instead of complex transfers, they now benefit from affordability and efficiency in one route.
Finally, Volotea unlocks a new chapter in cross-border travel. This connection allows tourists and professionals to explore two thriving regions with ease. Consequently, the Nantes–Brussels route strengthens cultural ties, boosts local economies, and creates growth opportunities in both France and Belgium.
