Wizz Air and Ryanair will expand flight services to Jordan from late August 2025. Starting on August 26, Wizz Air will restart its Budapest-Amman flights twice a week while also adding new routes to Aqaba. Ryanair will also scale up its network, bringing more affordable choices for travelers. The expansion strengthens Jordan’s position as a growing hub for tourism in the Middle East.
The two airlines will connect Jordan with eighteen European cities this winter season. Wizz Air will operate direct flights from Poland, Romania, and Bulgaria to Aqaba. These routes will increase Aqaba’s role as a top destination for beach and winter tourism. Ryanair’s presence will add further accessibility, creating smoother travel links from Europe to Jordan.
Travelers can now reach Jordan’s famous attractions faster and cheaper. Amman offers history and culture, while Aqaba brings beaches and water sports along the Red Sea. Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, will welcome more visitors due to better connections. Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea will also attract more global travelers seeking nature and adventure.
The growth of low-cost flights supports Jordan’s economy by boosting tourism revenue. More arrivals mean higher demand for hotels, tours, and local businesses. Affordable tickets will encourage budget-conscious travelers to choose Jordan for unique experiences. With strong air connectivity, Jordan will draw both leisure and business travelers throughout 2025.
Wizz Air and Ryanair are making Jordan more reachable and affordable than ever before. As routes expand, the country will continue to attract international attention as a leading tourism destination. Whether exploring Petra or relaxing in Aqaba, visitors can expect a world-class travel experience.
