Iberia will strengthen its Latin America–Europe links in 2025 with an ambitious network expansion. Therefore, the airline plans over 5.5 million seats on transatlantic routes and more than 350 weekly flights. Moreover, this growth includes a new service to Recife, Brazil, launching in December. In addition, Iberia will enhance its Hola Madrid Stopover program, letting travelers explore Spain’s capital before continuing their journey.
Furthermore, the airline will boost frequencies on key Latin American routes to meet rising demand. For example, Peru now enjoys two daily flights between Lima and Madrid. Likewise, Chile gains twelve weekly flights to Santiago, while Puerto Rico reaches up to eleven weekly services. Additionally, the Dominican Republic gets two daily flights on most days. Meanwhile, the new Recife route will operate three times weekly, creating stronger Brazil–Europe links.
At the same time, Iberia will maintain robust services on its busiest connections. Consequently, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, and Bogotá will each see three daily flights. Similarly, São Paulo will keep two daily links to Madrid. Moreover, travelers in Montevideo, Quito, San José, Guatemala, and El Salvador will enjoy daily flights. In contrast, Iberia will operate five weekly flights to Rio de Janeiro and Caracas, while Panama City, Havana, and Guayaquil will get three weekly flights.
In addition, the Hola Madrid Stopover program will continue to attract passengers from Latin America. As a result, travelers can stay in Madrid for up to nine nights at no extra cost. Not only does the program include discounts on hotels, transport, dining, and activities, but it also enriches journeys and boosts tourism in Madrid.
Finally, 2025 marks 80 years of Iberia’s transatlantic service. Therefore, its expansion and stopover benefits will reinforce leadership between Europe and Latin America. With steady growth ahead, Iberia aims to give travelers even more choices.
