Virgin Atlantic strengthens its India network as it scales up its Bengaluru route with faster growth plans. Virgin Atlantic expands services from London Heathrow to Bengaluru, and this shift highlights the airline’s focus on a key global technology hub. The airline now increases weekly flights and targets a near double-daily schedule for improved global connectivity.

The airline raises its Bengaluru flights from eleven to thirteen per week starting June 1, 2026. This expansion runs through the busy summer travel season and meets rising passenger demand. Additionally, the airline aligns this move with its broader strategy to grow in India, which ranks as its largest market outside the United States.

Virgin Atlantic enhances travel links between London and Bengaluru, and this upgrade improves access for business and leisure travelers. The route supports strong connections to major North American cities through its joint venture with Delta Air Lines and Air France-KLM. As a result, passengers gain smoother access to destinations like Toronto, Seattle, San Francisco, and New York.

The airline also strengthens its India network by maintaining double-daily services to Delhi and Mumbai. This approach reinforces its position across major business corridors in the country. Meanwhile, Virgin Atlantic expands its partnership with IndiGo to offer access to more than thirty domestic destinations. Travelers can connect easily to cities such as Goa, Jaipur, and Amritsar through this network.

The airline significantly grows its India capacity by over two hundred fifty percent since 2019. It now offers over five hundred thousand seats annually between the United Kingdom and India. In addition, Virgin Atlantic deploys extra capacity on busy routes to match high seasonal demand.

The airline also deploys the Airbus A350 on select London–Mumbai flights for a limited period. This temporary change increases capacity by around thirty percent and supports peak travel demand. Overall, Virgin Atlantic continues to invest in India, and this expansion highlights its long-term growth strategy.
